How Unemployment is Measured
According to the definition of international labor organization unemployment is a situation when a person is out of job, available to take a job or engaged in searching for work.
- An individual who has left a job and is not willing to search for another job is not defined as unemployed.
In the developing countries due to the varied nature of job and seasonal working and informal sectors it is very much difficult to measure unemployment.
- According to a survey undertaken by NSSO 33.3% of rural women and 27.2% of urban women above the age of 15 engaged in household work reported willingness to work if available within their premises.
- These women cannot be considered as unemployed as they are not actively searching for a job.

- Chinese traveler Hiuen Trang has called this country Bharat in his book.
Finally ended with the addition of 'Bharat' to article 1(1) the article currently reads India that 'Bharat' shall be a union of States.
Science and technology
Short Lived Nuclei
- Scientists have encountered many properties of atom one example is the island of stability.
Island of stability states that usually the heavier the nuclear of an unstable element the faster it will decay via radioactivity.
- Some isotopes that decay slower than their heaviness would suggest.
Atoms with the same number of protons but with different numbers of neutrons are called isotopes.
- One of the major characteristics of isotopes is this year almost the same chemical properties that differ in mass and therefore in their physical properties.
When isotopes are plotted in a graph with number of protons and one access and number of neutrons on the other access they found that the nuclear of most isotopes is along a straight line.
There is a trend of cluster isotopes around the number of protons 112.
This cluster is called the island of stability because these nuclei are usually more stable than others. This number is also called a magic number.
Air pollution
- As in the era of global warming the temperature of the Earth is continuously rising.
The ice of the glaciers are melting and the heat balance is completely destroyed in some areas.
- These factors create natural or manmade disasters like flooding, drought and other natural calamities.
- Among these another silent killer is air pollution.
Global health statistics results are a disturbing scenario with long cancer climbing 10 million touch worldwide in 2020 status by World health organization.
The number might increase by 3.2 million by 2050 according to a report.
- Initiative to come back air pollution includes internal carbon tax on all flight tickets and use in emission reduction measures.
- The world air quality project allows residents to make information about the actual equality data of their locality.
