GOVERNORS CANNOT SIT ON WHEELS PASSED BY THE HOUSE :SUPREME COURT
- The supreme court states that the governor cannot sit on key bills passed by a state legislature after casting doubts on the validity of the assembly session in which the proposed laws were passed with overwhelming majority by elected representatives by the people.
- Court highlighted article 200 of the constitution which is mandated for the governors to act as soon as possible when bills passed by the state legislatures.
- Whereas holding on to a bill is derogatory to the democratic system and smooth governance.
- The state said that the governor had positioned himself as a political rival to the elected Government and this is what is the result of search holding.
- That's why the governor was talking away with the citizens' mandate and position.
- It's also stated that the governor cannot sit on wheels claiming the house passed them in an invalid session after calling adjournment Sine Die without prorogation.

REVAMPING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM TO FIT THE BILL
- The central government has introduced three bills to replace the core loss that is the Indian penal code IPC 1860 the code of criminal procedure CrPC 1973 and the Indian evidence act EIA 1872 which forms the basic structure in the criminal justice system.
- All these have been examined by the parliamentary standing committee on Home affairs that the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Bill will replace the IPC, the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita Bill replace the CrPC and the Bhartiya Sakshya Bill will replace IEA.

168 VILLAGES ALONG CHINA BORDER TO GET ROAD CONNECTIVITY IN A YEAR
- The Union Home minister Amit Shah on Friday said 168 villages along the Chinese border that do not have any connectivity yet would be connected within a 1 year span from now.
- He also said that the country security of the border villages are not connected and the best community is or not provided over that area.
- He also stated that the country security suffer if border villages are emptied due to out migration and the vibrant village program would ensure that all facilities and infrastructure reach there
- The country could not be safe without development in the border areas.
- Self sustainable energy building SSEB is very special because built at an altitude of 17,000 feet in the cold desert this building would become a symbol of self-reliant India.
